Meet Anne - Founder

Anne McKinnon has spent more than 20 years helping people learn — in English language teaching & adult community education. From teenagers and young adults in Perth, Australia & Malaysia to lifelong learners from many cultural backgrounds, she loves ‘bridging the gap’ for learners & designing learning to make complex ideas ‘click’ - and ‘stick’.

Drawing from global experiences and extensive work with culturally and linguistically diverse communities, Anne’s approach goes beyond just relaying information about scam facts and fears. She recognises that adult learners have differing needs & abilities. The common ‘information dump’ approach to online fraud awareness often results in overwhelm: a whole lot of ‘what’ and very little helpful ‘how’.

Anne creates real-world learning informed by research, combining insights from effective education, online security & psychology to help Australians protect themselves with confidence.

She helps diverse learners build the critical thinking skills, self-awareness and habits that support both personal wellbeing and long-term digital resilience.

Whether in a workshop, a supportive individual session, or a 15-minute chat over a cuppa, Anne’s target is to give Australians guidance to learn to find their way in the digital landscape more securely & confidently.
